How do I hide the author in Joomla 4.0.4?

If I go to the article overview and use the Options button and then scroll down a bit, I see Author. When I set it to "Hide", nothing happens.
Below that "Link to the author's contact page" does work.

What to do?

Check the options of the menu item.
