Media Manager custom files/images path not working

Post by wirecreative » Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:56 pm

I can't get this setting to effectively override to the Joomla default "images" path. I have a folder uploaded named "files" and have tried both "files" and "files/" in the "Path to Files Folder" setting in the media configuration, but the media manager always loads the images folder with the banners/headers/sampledata subdirectories. Am I missing something? Thanks.

you need to make the change in the plugin FileSystem - Local

Ah, that's new, right? Seems confusing/redundant with the Media Manager setting.

With my preferred directory selected in the plugin, I now get this message in the Media Manager: "Error
The account was not found."

Presumably a permissions issue on the folder I added to the root?

Thanks!
