uninstall problems
I have some plugins/components appearing in the add-ons list, but I can't find their ID in the database.
Is this a sign that they have already been uninstalled and if so how do I delete them from the extension list.
Joomla ver. 4.2.5 and just migrated from 3.10

Re: uninstall problems
Well extension manage gets its data from the database. So if it's in Extensions Manage then it will be in the database. You could try reinstalling it then uninstalling again That is if it's J4 compatible). How did you uninstall it originally?

Re: uninstall problems
I tried to uninstall it in 3.10 and was not aware that not all were uninstalled. Can't install them again because they don't exist anymore as far as I know.
In ver. 4 database I can't find them based on their ID and I don't know how to search by name

Re: uninstall problems
Recover with your backup of J3 then uninstall, doulbe check the uninstall. When you are satisfied then migrate to J4 again.

Re: uninstall problems
Luckily I still have my ver 3 running, ver 4 is running on a test host.
When I try to uninstall in ver 3 I get this error:
JFolder: :delete: Path is not a folder. Path: [ROOT]/administrator/modules/mod_editorchange
Module Uninstall: Manifest file invalid or not found.

Re: uninstall problems
I got a little braver and looked a little deeper in my J4 database and found the extension ID that the add-on has, but I dare/don't know how to delete the entry in the databaseb

Re: uninstall problems
Use Akeeba to make a backup of your site or/and make a database dump. Then tick the box next to the listing that you want to remove and click Delete.
