Contact form on page Topic is solved

Hi there,

im a bit newbie with Joomla, so don't hate me please.

My problem is, that im administrating friends webpage which is running on Joomla.

On the contact page, there is a contact form, but for god sake i can't find where is that contact form sending mails, responses etc... ?

It is classic, fill in name, email, question etc..

I'll be glad for some clue! Thanks.

Welcome to Joomla forum!

In the back-end, go to Menus > Main Menu.
Find the "Contact us" menu item.

The "Menu Item Type" specifies which component is used.
The "Link" might contains "com_contact".
If so, then Joomla's default contact form is used.
You can find the settings under Components > Contacts.

I found that in source code is not mail for contact form filled. But i can't find that file anywhere.
I know only html, but php neither Joomla is mess for me.

Ok, the site uses Joomla's default contact form.

From the Administrator menu, look in System / Mail Templates / Contacts - Contact Form Mail (and the Copy version too). Is that what you are looking for?
