Access denied when I try to edit an existing article Topic is solved

Hi,

I was reading an article on my website and I saw an orthographic error; I logged in, I fixed it, but when I tried to save, my next navigator page was a white page with only 2 words: "Access Denied".

What I've tried:

- Edit log in to the administration pages: "Access Denied"
- Edit from the administration a different content: "Access Denied"
- Edit from the administration a different content with no changes and save it: "Access Denied"
- Edit from the administration a different content with no changes and close it: "Access Denied"
- Modify an existing article with default editor=none: same result
- Check-in the articles from the administration list: OK
- Add a new article: OK
- Modify a new article: OK
- Delete the article: OK
- Status of the website: OK, you can see any article

What is the problem? I have not added new modules or plugins recently ...

Hi,

more information: I checked all the Components menu and I've the same error only on the Akeeba Backup Control Panel:

/administrator/index.php?option=com_akeebabackup&view=Controlpanel

The other options (Profile configuration, Backup now and Manage Backup) works well.

Contact your host to have it fixed.

2) There are nothing with 'Writable', what is the exact value I've to ask to change ?

To do it, may I have to add at the end of my php.ini ...

Sorry to repeat...but to clarify:

1. $live_site should have no value - just the variable with no value between the two single quote (apostrophe) marks. I am not sure it matters using double or single quotes, however my sites have this written as

with the single quotes.

2. Session Path value should be Yes (your FPA shows it as No). Ask your web host if not sure - it's a server setting.

3. Max Upload Size and Max Post Size limit can be usually changed in your hosting account through cPanel, Plesk etc (whatever your host uses). Otherwise you can do so in your PHP.ini (or .htaccess) file.
