Login followed up by edit profile button

Post by rgtr » Sun Mar 31, 2024 5:15 pm

Hi

Has this been sorted yet ?

For me it throws up a screen with an edit profile button.

That is worse than useless . . .

I have manged to disable the forgot username and password with css which I found here:
/* hide login stuff*/
.login .list-group > a {
display: none; visibility: hidden;
}

I would also like to disable the "remember me" as well.

Re: Is there a way to disable messages when a user logs in and logs out?

Post by rgtr » Sat Apr 06, 2024 8:19 am

Hi

I need to make sure that a site is secure and am proposing to do this by conducting a manual registration - the number of users is small.

But due to the sensitive nature of the material on the site, I need to disable the Edit button, as when a password reset is tried, the password characteristics are displayed.

Can someone give me some pointers please.
I am useless at trying to work out which class has to be suppressed if using css.
I also am unable to create an override ! Best solution would be to stop the post login screen displaying.

Hi all

I forgot the trick to have separate menu items for Login and Logout

Login which points to the Login Form is set to "Guest", whilst Logout which points to its form is set to Registered.

Problem solved . . .
