Language Switcher not showing flags

Hi

when I enabled Language Switcher module, I only see the module title, there is no enabled language flags shown or language name. why?

installed 3 languages:

This is because the Default Menu Item for each of these content languages are missing.

If you are developing a multilingual site, please refer the documentation https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Setup_a_Multilingual_Site.

Note:
Even though the document is for Joomla! 3, the underlying concepts are same for Joomla! 4 as well.

You could click on the link Multilingual Status that is in the status bar in the back-end to get to know about various multilingual settings.
