Is there a way to verify that an extension is actually being used?

I'm in the early stages of planning an upgrade from 3.1 to 4.*. I have a number of extensions to check. I'm wondering if there is a way to verify that an extension is actually being used on the site. In some cases, I may have to find alternative extensions, because some of the ones that we have installed appear to be no longer maintained. (E.g. media store, which was last updated in 2018 and is a requirement for our site.)

You know what would be nice? If you could search for extensions and eliminate ALL the extensions that are either Joomla Project or part of the base install. That would leave only the extensions that you need to be concerned about when upgrading.
