Migration to new hosting leads to Fatal Error

Post by ottosuperstudio » Fri Dec 02, 2022 5:15 pm

Hello,
the website https://www.parcoadamello.it is showing a Fatal Error, like the pone in this link https://docs.joomla.org/J4.x:FatalError.
I've tried to download the FPA file in the root directory, but that is not working too.
Let me explain first, the website was on a 7.3 PHP version, therefore our collaborator decided to move the website to a new hosting that provides a higher PHP version so that Joomla can work fine on the website.

The migration happend yesterday, but today the website started to show a Fatal Error.
I wanted to restore the backup of the website that I saved using Akeeba Backups but that doesn't work too.

For the moment we redirected to a website on our domain pre.ottosuperstudio, so people can still see the website.

Would you be able to help me? Thank you in advance.

Use a text editor to edit configuration.php in the site root. Set $debug to true and $error_reporting to 'maximum'. Then trigger the error.

Your error should include a stack trace. Take a screenshot of the stack trace (not the code) and paste it here,

Another option is you can use the .htaccess to change the php version so you can access admin to turn on debug.

What error are you getting with the fpa?
