Simulation of migration from Joomla 3.10.11 to 4 locally Topic is solved

This may seem like a childishly simple problem, but I haven't been able to find the solution to my problem for several days.
Before migrating my site from Joomla 3.10.11 to Joomla 4, I want to test the whole route locally, on MAMP 6.
I backed up my site and uploaded it to MAMP. (Akeeba + kickstart)
The administration part works without problem, but when I want to access the site itself, the URL address is that of my live site + the local address.

(https://www.travel-video.info/http://mi ... /index.php).

After many tries, I deleted .htaccess (at least, I made it htaccess.txt), because there were a lot of redirects in this file. But that didn't change anything...
Index.html links to the standard presentation page of the site, on the local server. On the other hand, index.php sends me back to the live site, + the address of the local site.
I checked the __DIR__ variable which gives me the right folder...
I can't see where the problem could come from.
I disabled a few plugins, like for example sh404SEF, thinking it might cause redirects, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

You have url rewrite on in config but no .htaccess,either turn off url rewrite in global or create an .htaccess file. I always disable jchoptimize until I have the site ready for going live.

I changed the values max upload and max POST both to 64M.
Now I get a blank screen with "error"... Good thing is that it did not redirect to live site.

I disabled .hatccess, at it is a rather complex file with many redirects, and I checked: rewrite is off in my control panel.I noticed in the report that it seems to be "On", but this is not the case.
Jchoptimize is disabled since a while...

I have changed the log settings to see more informations about the error. Here is what it says:

After suppressing the blank line, I come back again in my live site...

In windows there are host files that can cause redirections,I don't know the mac system,perhaps there is something similar?

No idea if this is the case in Mac. I have tried several things in index.php and I guess something is wrong in GetApplication “site”.
But I don’t know how to see what is in that variable…
But this is in my opinion the instruction where it goes wrong.

To summarise: localhost/whatever/administrator/ works normally but localhost/whatever/ does not.

Is that from clicking the site link at the top right? I use a Mac for testing and have dozens of test sites in place of whatever. But I don't use MAMP.

There should not be anything in the code or the database that changes the site link. The most obvious place to look is .htaccess or a server setting somewhere in MAMP. I have MAMP but I am reluctant to start it for fear of corrupting a working system.

Which browser are you using? I doubt it makes a difference and I guess you have already tried several.

As I said before, I have disabled .htaccess (by renaming it), as it contains lots of redirects which are needed in production.
I use Firefox but tried also Chrome and Safari.
I am currently trying to debug index.php with MacGDBp (xdebug). But I don't really think it will help me, but I would like to know where the live address appears in the process...

I looked therein before, but I could not find something which could cause this strange behaviour. But I'll recheck when my debug action is finished... I wanted to understand a bit what is happening, so I debug it step by step... and there are many steps.

That looks like an error in your Apache virtual host configuration.

What is the link you use for the administrator?

Did debugging even start? It is normal to pause on the first line of code. If that is in index.php you at least know the problem is inside Joomla. If you not halting, or executing code somewhere else, then the problem is in your configuration.

I spent a few hours following the whole process step by step (which means instruction by instruction...) I guess I clicked probably more 5000 times to see the next instruction executed...
Very interesting to see all the things that happen just to start the website and executes in a fraction of a second...
I am pretty sure that the problem comes from some third party, but I have a quite a lot of them installed. Some of them do probably some rerouting. I have disabled a few of them to test, but probably they let traces in the database. One of them is sh404SEF (which I have completely uninstalled, as it will not survive the migration). On the live site it is disabled since a bit more than 2 months, the time for Google to discover thenew URL's. This is one of the reasons why there quit a lot of redirects in .htaccess.
Another one I disabled on localhost is Jspeed. But none of those operations helped.

And probably something in the configuration. I did not expect this, as I restored the latest backup with Akeeba and Kickstart. It is not the first time I install the website locally, but it is the first time I have this problem. That's what makes me think of some redirect left behind by a third party plugin...

You could use phpMyAdmin to search the database for 'www.travel-video' or search the file tree. It should not be there!

Good suggestion.
I searched for travel-video.info in the document source and found it in the cache of JSpeed. I deleted the cache, but this had no effect.
My site is based on Sp Page Builder and I noticed I am missing the So Page Builder tab…
I redownloaded it, and launching it from the admin panel. And I got exactly the same problem.
So I contacted them again, may be they can tell me where the problem is…

Your last suggestion was the good one...
I found hundred of links to the live site in the database, onder 4SEO... Some extensions pretend to bring a solution to any SEO challenge... In fact the do not and they make life of webmasters bitter when it comes to make changes to the structure of their website. I had a similar experience with sh404SEF...
