Failed Joomla update

Attempted to install a Joomla update. Going from version 3.10.12 to Joomla 4.4.3. I completed the pre-install checks and resovled any errors showing. We are unable to access the site after the upgrade. I'm able to login to the Admin page, but I'm not able to go to any other section really. When I try to browse to System/Extensions, I receive an error saying: An error has occurred. Call to undefined method Joomla\Database\Mysqli\MysqliDriver::query(). This happens when clicking on just about every menu item in Admin. When browsing to the website, it gives the error that the page cannot be found and provides the same error above to report to the website admin. Looking at the joomla_update.php file, everything appears to have went ok until the very end. All of the sql commands completed without error. Here are the error messages I see in the log:

I'm NOT a website admin nor am I a website admin wannabe. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

1 Try deleting autoload_psr4.php from admin/cache and then access your site and see if it makes any difference.

2 The update didn't complete successfully , can you restore a backup? If yes then empty the DB and delete all joomla files from your site first.

Removed that file from the admin/cache directory. No luck. Same error when browsing the website and the backend. I don't have a backup to restore. Would it be possible to backup the content and then perform a clean install and finally recover the content?

I just checked the site control panel. It doesn't appear there are any auto generated backups.

Lower your php to 8.1.x J4 has issues with php 8.2.x

Lowered php to 8.1. The issue still persists though.

So you did the update without any backup, despite, being advised (at least three times during the migration process) to make a backup?

Whether that was done through Akeeba Backup (not installed in this case) or through your web host, you should have the means in cPanel (your web hosting panel) to make a manual backup in the "backups" section. The alternative would have been to export the database through phpMYAdmin. The database is the most important aspect of your site.
