Migrate/Restore Content from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 4.0

Hi all, seek your kind advice/opinion.

Currently my intranet content running on Joomla 2.5 and I've created a new environment with latest Windows OS and Joomla 4.0.

Questions:
1. Can I migrate or restore my current intranet website content/pages onto the new Joomla 4.0 environment?
2. Is there any guide or tutorial that I can refer to?

While this is possible it probably will go much better using a Migrator tool from the JED https://extensions.joomla.org/category/ ... onversion/ and follow their instructions. It will differ upon which tool you pick. Not all are J4 compatible yet so some caution is required.
J4 is new enough that you are likely to hit a few snags upon the way bringing content from J2.5, I haven't tried it yet but it should be possible.

It's possible, yes. It will probably take you a several days if you do nothing else. Unless the J! 2.5 website is making money I probably wouldn't spend my own time doing this; I would probably start over. Remember, J! 2.5 was released ten years ago; I lot has happened in ten years.

There are many guides/tutorials that you can refer to if you search for them.

So? Easy (mini) migration J25 to Joomla 3 --> upgrade to Joomla 3.10 and (mini) migrate to Joomla 4. Why start over which takes a lot more time?
