Hackers frequently attack my website
I don't understand why attackers constantly devise plans to target my website, which is related to phone repairs, as it's just a store I've been running. One day, the attackers launched a severe attack, rendering my website inaccessible. This situation has left me deeply disheartened. I am determined to find specific solutions to protect my website from future attacks.

Welcome to the Joomla forum!
What precautions have you taken to protect your website? What does your host say about the situation?
Which version of Joomla does this website have? Are all the third party extensions uptodate?

It's not about you specifically I am guessing. For example, if you were to register a new domain you would notice it gets immediately attacked by hundreds of bots within the first 10 min of going online without a site yet.rahmwilliam wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 7:04 amI don't understand why attackers constantly devise plans to target my website, which is related to phone repairs, as it's just a store I've been running. Protect your site as best as possible against such script kiddies and always stay up to date.

Script kiddies use a 'shot gun' approach. They find hacking code and try it out on all the sites they can. If they find a vulnerable site they post back where they found the hack. If you are worried about your site try https://mysites.guru/
