Need hierarchical image database component

Not exactly sure how to describe this, but I'm searching (in vain so far) for a component or extension that will help me build an image library. I have several hundred photos I'd like to get online in a way that makes viewing them pleasant and intuitive as well as making it easy to find particular images. It needs to support multilevel albums/categories with a pretty streamlined upload system as I would add new images weekly.

So far the best possibilities for what I want are RSMediaGallery and Droppics, but I don't think they do all of what I want to do. CoppermineGallery does but it's pretty much it's own thing, not a Joomla compnent.
