Password protect an article?
I was using ECR but not compatible with J4, anything else one can use to simply protect a single article with a password? Thanks.

Re: Password protect an article?
ECR is available for J4 - just not from the JED which hasn't been updated.
If you click the "Download" button in the JED listing for ECR, that takes you to the developers extension page, and the first listing is ECR for Joomla 4. However, seems J4 version is only available through subscription.
Was thinking, this may be an alternative, https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... l-content/ but then realised, it's based on users still having a user account on the site, and not simply a one-time password.

That extension was useful several years ago but unfortunately it was last updated in 2015. The latest version of ContentPassword plugin in Github was meant for Joomla 3.xx, but it uses the deprecated constant DS and crashes Joomla 3.10 and Joomla 4.

Try it (Paid): https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/jlex-block/, it works for all extensions.
