How to display a Joomap directory in the Frontend?

Post by wlifew » Wed Oct 30, 2024 11:01 pm

Hi,
I am currently using Joomla version 4.4.5 and Yootheme. I am trying to create a directory with Joomap, but I can't figure it out why it doesn't display to the Frontend as it should be. I have created all the locations, maps, location type etc , linked them to a menu but at the final result something seems wrong with the image sizes. They should be much smaller in the pop-up preview. They are also distorted in the list view. The other issue is that I have also created field groups and specific fields under these locations and they don't show up either. In these directory I should put other headings how to proceed with them, should I create as a new page with the Yootheme builder or Joomla Dashboard?
Can someone please help me with this, what am I doing wrong? is there anything I should change at the modules? should I change the Yootheme's template (does it have to do with it?). Or please, if you own any tutorial or other material would help me a lot.

Thank you!

Welcome to the Joomla forum!

It is unlikely your extension is called Joomap, because searches cannot find Joomap from JED. Years ago Joomap was mentioned with outdated versions of Joomla.

If this extension is actually JoomMap, it is a paid extension. Therefore it is best to check the documentation first and then contact the developer of this extension.

Hello, thank you for responding!
Yes, it is a paid extension called Joomap v.5.4 for j4.
Is there anyone working with it?
So, what can you possibly recommend ?
