Connections between Chronoforms and Chronoconnectivity

Post by Phala » Sun Jan 21, 2024 5:08 pm

Hello Joomlers,

pretty new and not a big expert of joomla world :)

I'm trying to recreate my website did long time ago with 1.5.26.

Downloaded and installed extension on version 6 (Chronoconnectivity 8 is not available for J4), but now I'm struggling to get the data collected in the form created into the tabel in front end.

Is it a guide available?

Thanks

Paolo

Consider another form builder that is J4 / 5 compatible.

I don't know what version you're using of Chronforms, but it is J4 and J5 compatible.
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/chronoforms/. V.8.0.17 released 12 November 2023 and apparently this now includes the functionality of ChronoActivity, you don't need a separate extension.

While the JED says ChronoConnectivity is available for J4
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... nectivity/ (released July 2023, V6.0.11 it recommends using Chronforms v8 only.

(Direct link to Chronforms to provide context for my response: https://www.chronoengine.com/downloads/chronoforms)

You probably need conforms v6 for J4, which includes the connectivity functionality, and I assume, subsequent versions also v7 and V8.
See https://www.chronoengine.com/downloads/ ... nnectivity

Thank you very much guys on the suggestion on the version to be installed.

But it wasn’t my question… 😉

Any input where to find a guide? And figure form / table in the proper way?

Thanks again

Paolo

Thank you very much gusy, for the great support

But it's not working...probably I'm doing something wrong.

I've followed the faq, created my form, but not able to connect it to a "table" to be showed in front end...

Here the form:

http://opale.sviluppo.host/index.php/ga ... e=end_page

Could someone let me know, or indicate me a guide to follow? I've used this one:

But no results :'(

Thanks

Paolo

Calendar is disabled in the free version frontend

Yes, me too.

When you’re using Chronoforms for free, some functions are disabled.

But it’s not related to the connection from the form to the front end table…

Thanks

Paolo
