Footer height

Post by straetch » Wed Oct 05, 2022 9:22 am

How can I decrease the height of the footer without overriding the template?
The following in user.css works but is probably not future-safe:

Code: Select all

.container-footer > div:nth-child(1) {
  padding: 0px;
}

If its in the user.css then it wont be changed when you update joomla.

That is true, but what is now div:nth-child(1) could e.g. become div:nth-child(2) in a future joomla release.
With a class or id an object is identified. With div:nth-child(1) the location in the tree is referenced and that might change for the same object in the future.

You can try set a specific max or min height or use a more specific id for this container.
