Two questions about Helix Ultimate

Hello team, hope you are well.

So gonna put my two doubts here:

First one is, I am with the redesign process of a website and now it's been using Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder for few months already. I noticed that to all the old articles, now the <p> tag became a <blockquote> tag in the Joomla Editor in all the articles... I already changed few but there are thousands... How could I change it globally to make all <blockquotes> become <p> again as they were? Here's an example of how the articles shown after changing to Helix https://invertirenbolsa.info/novatos/gu ... nteres.htm. And here is an example of an article after I manually changed in Joomla Editor every <blockquote> tag to <p> tag https://invertirenbolsa.info/invertir_bolsa.htm. So how can I do this globally at once?

Also my second doubt... When I started the redesign I was new in Joomla and, for example, had no idea about Helix and if it was free or if it was not. I got a paid template online called "Lawstudio" which is based in Helix Ultimate. So now my question, I just need and I've been using just the Helix Ultimate features, nothing of the customized things made to create Lawstudio (like Lawyer Profiles, for example...). So Joomla keep asking me sometimes to update Helix Ultimate Framework, which is updated to the latest and it's free of course, but it also asks me now to update the lawstudio template. But I actually don't need that, so how can I like delete lawstudio from the system but keep Helix so I don't lose any work? I don't know if I explained myself correctly.

Third -party developers use Helix as a base, but make changes or add their code, which can differ significantly from the Helix base code. The same for SP Page Builder addons.

Helix Framework consists of two parts - 1) the template (Helix Ultimate template) in which there are all layouts, scripts and styles, and 2) the plugin (Helix Ultimate plugin) that controls all this. In your case, the template part (1) is Lawstudio template but not Helix Ultimate template.

Helix updates that you receive are Helix_ultimate plugin updates, but not the template part update itself. To update the the template part, you need to buy Lawstudio template.

On your site, the Lawstudio template current version is outdated. It uses Bootstrap 4 and many other old things. The current version of Helix Ultimate and in general J4 uses Bootstrap 5.x.

To get rid of dependence on Lawstudio and use the raw Helix Ultimate, you need to do the following actions:

Create a backup of your site, restore it to the subdomain, switch the entire site to Cassiopea , delete Lawstudio, delete Helix_ultimate plugin (check <blockquotes> problem on this stage). Download and install Raw Helix Ultimate from Joomshaper, switch your site to Helix Ultimate. Update SP Page Builder to the last 3.x.x. version. I do not recommend Sp Page Builder 4. It still has many bugs.

I'm not sure, but I think the problem with <blockquotes> will disappear after that. At least neither raw Helix Ultimate nor raw SP Page Builder are the reason of this. If the problem does not disappear, you need to find the cause in other third -party extensions. Or you can use ReReplacer from RegularLabs to replace all <blockquotes> to <p>.

And yes, of course, after all these manipulations you will have to restore the appearance of your site using the Helix/Sp Page Builder settings and CSS

Hello Pavel, SORRY VERY MUCH BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER REPLIED! I will start the process soon. My template is Lawstudio from Unitemplates and I have a SPPB Pro subscription with Joomshaper. So I am not using anything added from lawstudio to Helix Ultimate so I definitely wanna get rid of them as to update the template I must pay again, etc. And it's not worth...

I already tried your steps in a subdomain and all worked, but yeah, lost many things too... So I just have to be ready for that and then I will do the process, and then set the website to the current look as fast as possible.

Hi.

Such file in /ROOT/layouts/chromes/sp_xhtml.php should not be for raw Helix Ultimate. But some settings turn to this non-existent file. Perhaps you have some active settings left of the old template. Check the assigned layouts of modules, articles, categories and ect, and switch them to the default layouts.

Without a direct study of your site, it is difficult to say what the reason is

So the file here definitely does not exists: /ROOT/layoutsChromes/ (here is not existing)

So don't have to delete that one, right? this folder has been created when installing clean helix ultimate, already without lawstudio.

About some modules assigned to the lawstudio, yes, could be as I remember setting few like this instead of "default layout", so it might be calling to Lawstudio (which already does not exists instead of calling shaper_helixultimate (the clean template).

Hi. "Blog Options" from Helix, "Attorney" not from Helix.

Have you done this step carefully before clean Helix installation?
