Helix Error ClassNotFound After Upgrade

I upgraded Joomla To 4.1.0 a few months ago and this error occured:

I'm not exactly sure what to do from here. I do not remember exactly what version I upgraded from, but I think it was from a version of 3. I have just now found time to work on it.

Any simple solution without having to reinstall?

The JoomShaper template Shaper Helix II 2.3 was released for Joomla 3.6.2, which was released in August 2016. It is not compatible with PHP 8.0, released in November 2020.

Was this template still working with PHP 7.4 after you updated the website to Joomla 4.1 and changed to PHP 8?

Oh, I don't think it ever worked! This makes alot of sense, since my hosting service also started charging me for php8.0 around the same time.

Simple way to revert to a different template with no admin access?

Looks like I'm pretty well screwed. The migration Tutorial explicitly states that if you install Joomla 4 over 3, you cannot remove the template afterwards. Oh well. I was kinda already prepared to start over!

Hi. Return to the your Joomla 3 backup and make migration again. Before that, upgrading Helix and all other extensions to the latest versions.

Or you can try to replace Helix files manually. You can download separately helix_ultimate plugin on the official website
