How to disable template Cassiopeia Password Reset page
After installing Joomla 4.4.6 (soon to be upgraded) I see that a page with Url https://www.mydomain.com/component/user ... Itemid=101 is visible and found by Google.
How is it possible to inactivate this page and how can it be used if I want this module to be used in the future. Have not managed to find any documentation.
Thanks for any input!

Thanks Per, but I would really also like to know why this page is active and how to avoid that - and potentially use it in the future. I can't find any explanation to this.

Go to the Options in User Manager and disable the User Registration

Thanks Per, I really appreciate your inputs :-)
However, the setting "Allow User registration" is already set to No under "System->Global Configuration->Users->User Options.
Doesn't quite get it,
Also, the component is showed on the bottom of the main page. If you really require this function, it would be useful to show in a separate page - but how? And even if you use it, an email is not send to the user. Guess it requires som setup, but again, this is not documented.

Yes, I did that and it works.
I created a new user and the resetting works ok. I was trying the same for a super user, where it doesn't work.
Still would be nice to know the behavior of this component, to make translations and put it in dedicated pages and not the bottom of the main page.
Thanks Per,
Benny

The password for administrators that belong to group Super Users can only be changed by another Super User. If you are the only Super User and managed to lock yourself out from the backend, follow the instructions in the tutorial How do you recover or reset your admin password?.

Re: How to disable template Cassiopeia Password Reset page
Hi Toivo and Per,
I appreciate your input, thanks.
But, still! How does this module work? It cannot be inactivated. I can get it to work, but if I don't need it, I want it to be inactivated. If I want to use it, I want to be able to place it nicely on a page and not just in the bottom of the main page, and I also want to be able to maintain (and translate) the text. It seems to be an imperfect solution that is not manageable.
Do you have any experience using this module (which is not a real module - as I see it).
Thanks,
Benny
