Post by anavasis » Mon Mar 13, 2023 9:43 pm

I have installed sinco joomla 4 template in a subdomain in order to start building a fresh copy of my website that is on joomla 3. I have made all important changes in the sef in global configuration. Furthermore i have made the changes in the htaccess but the problem exists. The problem is that:
urls are ok in the menus but in the blog grid articles links are line the below:
http://new.mywebsite.com/component/cont ... Itemid=101

i cannot find anyway to remove /component/content/article/ and catid=12&Itemid=101
i have also added some code in the htaccess found here:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/398 ... -in-joomla

The original htaccess.txt works all right, as long as it has been renamed .htaccess and the SEF options in the SEO section of the Global Configuration are selected.

Check if your template has a subfolder com_content in the folder templates/sinco/html. The html subfolder contains template overrides that can change how Joomla usually works.
