goDaddy Webhosting SEF URL rewrite htaccess issue

Post by cloudtek » Fri Mar 31, 2023 6:38 pm

I have a similar issue.
I have several joomla sites hosted on a goDaddy auto-ssl webhost.
The server requires an attached domain, and all subsequent addon domains point to folders inside the public_html folder.

Every single install I make can't use SEF URL rewrite, because when I save that setting in admin and rename the htaccess file, it breaks the site (front end and admin).

Wondering if there is a know solve for this. I'm assuming it's the way the hosting is set up.
