I don't know why it's coming. I can see the duplicate page with the end ?rCH=-2 and ?rCH=2.
I can't figure out what componet write this code.

One of the page with this strange problem is: https://www.around-naples.com/it/posill ... tml?rCH=-2

Hi

The ?rCH= bit is added by an extension, I can't remember which one right now.I'd suggest you talk to the developers of the extensions you use. It may have to do with a cookie acceptance plugin for instance.

That extension adds the ?rCH=xx to the URLs and that causes the Joomla language filter plugin to also include it in the URL.

I can see that your canonical does not include it, I'm not sure how that canonical is created and it's a bit odd it decides to strip that query variable by itself, but the language filter does not do the same thing and keeps the query variable - as it should.

In any case, the fix is to find which extension does that and whether it can be removed.

A better solution if you can is to "noindex" them, that way you don't have to worry about it at all.

Be aware that I'm talking about adding a noindex meta-tag. I am NOT talking about excluding these pages from your robots.txt file.

I can't put noindex on the original link (without?Rach=xx) because if I do the original link also will be no indexed

Hi,

Well, yes, you'd need an seo extension to do that only for the ?rch=2 links.
