Simple urls

We use 4sef but we are fed up of this component. We would like to use the native url system of joomla. But how can we create simple urls using only the article's title without categories and numbers included, example www.website.com/title-of-thearticle.html ?

You can create a menu item for each article. The "alias" is used to create the URL.

In order to not display all those single article menu items in your menu: you can hide each menu item (in the settings of the menu item) or add them all to a menu that you just don't show (e.g. call the menu hidden and do not use it in any of your menu modules).
