Since updating to joomla 4.2.5, the site is very slow

Post by sps2i » Thu Nov 10, 2022 12:13 pm

Since the update to joomla 4.2.5, the transition between each page of my site (https://www.coco-b-editions.com) has become very very long. There is a blank screen between each page.

Could it be from the update?

thank you in advance for your help

Hi. I think that this is not the correct setting of JCH Optimaze or server. Now the page is given to the browser only after the full load of DOM. This causes blank screen between each page.

Good practice is to give the page immediately, loading the upper visible part of the content (this option is in JCH Optimaze) and further gradual loading of all other DOM elements while the page is already visible to the user.
