PHP has no Brotli compression functions. Only 3rd party extensions are available. You're better off using the server to compress output. It's more customizable and allows compressing static assets.

And how you set this up so it works for Joomla?

Joomla doesnt support this just out of the box even if your server have support for brotli.

That depends on your server. On Apache add directives to .htaccess. mod_brotli module is required.
For what it's worth, since J4 already comes with gzipped assets, it could easily come with brotli-compressed assets as well.

Ok thats what I have to figured out and how to get Joomla brotli cache content if its a server issue only to solve. Saw this old article https://drupal.stackexchange.com/questi ... gziped-one

So I will test and see if I can solve this doing some server investigation.
