update aliases with unicode support

hi,

j5 has unicode support for aliases. how can I update all aliases with unicode support?

If you have a J! extension of your own, I would use that to run a process that loads an object of each type that you want to update, use its own method to generate an alias and save it.

Without your own extension you can (almost certainly)(?) do it from an external program, although that takes a little more setting up.
It's a community, the more we all contribute, the better it will be.

Unicode Aliases is Enabled in Global Configuration.

Are you trying to change Aliases to a Language that use other character sets than Latin?

Open the Article for editing and clear the Alias Field. Save Article and a new Alias will be generated from the Title.

Yeah sure u r right but it is a bit difficult for over 55000 articles.
