Articles Category List, multi level

Menu item "Articles Category List" shows only a listing of articles in selected category. Articles in subcategories can be shown separated under the listing.
We want to show all articles in selected category and subcategories in same article list. How to arrange this?

I agree, I can't seem to get the Articles Category list menu item to list in the table layout (default layout) all articles across the selected categories. It doesn't seem to "inherit" child categories to simply include them in the list along with the parent category articles.

For me this is the way it works (example: https://devj4.applecrossanglican.org/index.php/sermons - see the sermons (test) link)).

It will list the parent category articles with some summary information, but it will only show a link to the sub-category title, which then opens a separate page displaying a table, with the sub-category articles.

I don't see how to combine them as you have asked.

Thanks A Murray,

See https://cleanairnederland.nl/nieuws
All articles between 1 january 2024 and 29 february 2024 are stored in subcategories. They are missing in the body listing and shown only in categories in left column.

Funcional request for a parameter to add articles in main list.

Presumably there is no standard option for the above request. We are considering customization, who can help us?

May I suggest you explore the Articles - Category: Module. You could set the filtering options to a specific module and include Child Category Articles. If you can get the list you want you might include it in an article and perhaps produce an override to display the data you want.
