Website on 4.4.1 and no update available? Topic is solved

Hello, My website mentions it is currently on 4.4.1 and I would like to update to 5.0.3 However, On the Home Dashboard I read that 'Joomla is up to date' (and obviously it is not). When I 'Check if an update is available' it returns simply 'Checked for updates' but without results. Most probably I have caused this problem myself in the following circumstances: My provider, during several weeks, struggled with upgrading to MySQL 8.x and the I did something I should not have done. I looked for an alternative way to upgrade to 5.x and downloaded via Joomla facilities a file from which I forced an update. This caused the message that Joomla update was not possible to disappear, but now upgrading is no longer possible.

Go to System - Update - Update Sites. Is the update site 'Joomla Core' enabled?

If Joomla is unable to access an update site, even temporarily, the update site gets disabled in the list of sites. The update sites can then only be enabled manually.

On the Joomla Core ... Yes it is enabled. All topics under 'update sites' are enabled (changed it to disabled, rebuild and set to enabled again, rebuild, but problem remains)

Under warnings I get following, could this be a cause and what do I need to do?
WarningThe PHP temporary folder is not set.
This folder is the folder that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla can access this file. Whilst the folder not being set isn't always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue.

SOLVED!!
More or less manual solution. I downloaded the 5.0.3 upgrade package en installed it, and this solved the issue. All seems OK now. I am on 5.0.3 now.

Then something on the server prevented Joomla from contacting the update site. That is one reason why Joomla update component has the 'Upload and Update' tab.

That is indeed the output from the FPA script. Everything else looks all right, but all the folder permissions should be 755. The other permissions 777 and 775 are insecure.
