Embedding a [youtube] video in Article -- An Error Occured Topic is solved

If I try to edit or create a new article with an embedded [youtube] video using an iframe I get the following error in the embedded video frame.

Javascript is enabled in my browser. I have tried chrome, edge, firefox and they all give the same result. Any of the embedded videos that I have not tried to edit or create new work just fine in their embedded form.

To input the iframe I toggle the editor which is JCE to the source mode. I will turn off JCE and try to edit and see if it is a JCE issue.

I am using the latest version of Joomla 5.

How are you embedding it?

If using the YT code I think it's 'iframe', you may need to add it to the 'whitelist' tag filtering under Text filtering in Global Configuration.

Make sure first it's not the video on You Tube itself that is the problem.

JCE (or TinyMCE) may also have configuration settings for allowing specific HTML tags which are deemed a security issue in some circumstances, and Joomla may be removing it for 'safety' reasons.

I found the problem. . . My default editor got change the Tiny MCE. I normally use JCE Pro. switching the default editor fixed the problem. Please close this request.
