How do I find the sitemap of my website?

Post by KirstyKennedy » Sun Feb 09, 2025 11:29 am

After the website was down and we restored the backup, how can I find the map? Or do I need to take any additional steps?

Did your backup come from a time before you had installed JSitemap? Are you saying the component is not in the menu list? Do you see JSitemap in the extensions manager list?

Hi

I did use the same extension before but I find it not mapping my entire page especially like the multi level pages or perhaps it was my misconfiguration settings, my bad!

Alternatively, I did use the manual sitemap xml generator and put the file on the root folder myself

I do recommending you this free services, just put your URL and let them scan and generate the file instantly - https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

Works like a charm :)
I just built a local handyman directory at www.homeservices.my

I can assure you Jsitemap can index all urls and so much more if it is set up correctly, the docs are extensive. I am not associated with them in any way except as a satisfied customer.
