File Size upload

Post by Jaden » Thu Apr 25, 2024 8:25 am

Hi,

I am having strange issues with my 5.1 install!

First of all it would not accept my super user login to the admin side. After the third installation it accepted the initial user/PW.

Now I cannot get past the 2MB extension upload. I have done the below,
  • Added a php.ini file with upload_max_filesize = 100M
    post_max_size = 100M
  • Content->Media->Options, change 'Maximum Size (MB) to 100
Also I tried to install it from the tmp folder and it says no xml file when there is!

Thanks

Could that be a database limit?
Not accepting user/pass is often because of typos or copy/pasting hidden characters.

Could have been. But using the same user/PW on the third installation worked! Now it is just the file size upload I am facing.

Fixed!

cPanel ->PHP Selector. upload_max_filesize . Change this value! Joomla now allows the selected filesize.
