Does Pbn have any effect on Joomla website!

I have a question that " Does PBN helps in getting the rankings up for Joomla websites" . I am curios to know? Please share your experiences!

That sounds like a site or sites with a whole lot of back-links to me. I always thought "backlinks" on one's website were bad for SEO. Maybe I misunderstand the concept from the simple explanation above.

Yes I am talking about Private blog network also known as PBN links. No one talks about it, but behind the curtain people are using it to rank their business keywords!
