Welcome to Joomla forum!

All Joomla language packs are created and maintained by volunteers.
Everybody can add and check translations at the Joomla page on CrowdIn:
https://joomla.crowdin.com/cms

The Uzbek(uz-UZ) translation is not yet available because it has been translated for 12% and 0% checked.

You can help to make Joomla available in your language, see:

Hello!
I went to the translations page. But I don't understand anything about creating a language pack. I can only translate the words themselves from Russian to Uzbek, or from English to Uzbek. But I can't create a pack. I don't have programming skills. What programs do I need to know to take part in creating a language pack?

I found a Joomla 1.5 language pack.
Can I install it on Joomla 5?
Or can I use it to create a language pack for Joomla 5?

Joomla 5?
Joomla 5?

No, it will not work. Peter already gave you a link with instructions. You don't need to install any programs. Just register at https://joomla.crowdin.com/cms and start translating.

The CrowdIn page is just a place to collaborate on languages.

After the language has been translated and tested 100%, a translation installation package needs to be created. The language coordinator for that language will take care of that.

The Joomla Translation Team will make the package available for download and in the back-end of Joomla under installable languages.

Yes, I registered there right away. I found the Uzbek language. I followed the link "Go to Editor". So, I can just translate the "Source string" right there, in the "Translation" section?

Перешла в нем по ссылке "Go to Editor".

Now it's clear. At the moment, just need regular translations of the package text.
