AJAX error when upgrading Joomla version

Long story, but I'm starting from scratch on my hosting site, which by default has Joomla 3.10.12

I've been trying to upgrade to Joomla 4 and 5, but the process always stops at around 89 or 90% with the error "AJAX Loading Error: error"

I've enabled the error display and please see attached files, looks like a file is missing? but that can't be, I've downloaded the .zip package direclty from Joomla, what could be wrong?

Looks like your site is on version 5.1.4, which is a strange place to be. I think you should run the Forum Post Assistant and post the public results here. Look in administrator/logs for the joomla_update.php file to see what went on during your last update. You should be using the online update method rather than file upload method.
