Configure page title

Hello,
How can I add categories titles in the page title when displaying an article ?
In Joomla 3 I was doing that with SEF404, can it be done without extension in Joomla 5 ?
Something like :
<title>Article title | Category title | sub category title</tilte>

Page Title is set in the Menu Item. It shows in a h1 tag.

Do you have a Menu Item for each Category?

The Article Title is below in a h2 tag.

Hi,

You can of course manually set the page title in an article (it's called Browser title) but it'll have to be manually done ok each article.

I have not included the specific sh404SEF feature your are mentioning exactly as is in 4SEO, its successor, because this particular pattern (title | sub cat | cat) has been found to trigger Google title rewriting (they change your title to one they prefer). But you can add a rule to have for instance, Title | Category.

To my knowledge, yes.

I'd think you can update the title either by hooking into the onBeforeCompileHead event, or by overrides in your template. Can't say which specific file though
