Issues with my website and SEO Optimer

Post by VB74 » Tue Feb 11, 2025 8:11 am

Hello,

I have a website about Italian cuisine on last version of Joomla 5.

While testing SEO OPTIMER (https://www.seoptimer.com/casa-bandera. ... le52722872), I noticed several abnormalities:

1. "Your page's main keywords are not distributed well across the important HTML tags."

On my home page (https://casa-bandera.com/) all H1, H2, H3, H4 are full of my keywords like "Italian cuisine, recipes etc". I optimized it very well. However, SEO OPTIMER tells me that my keywords are related to cookies banner, very strange! For information, I use the plugin "Cookies CK".

2. "Your page has a low volume of text content which search engines can interpret as 'thin content'. Word Count: 158"

That's impossible, I have thousands of words on my homepage. It's very penalizing for the SEO.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Funny when I click that "optimiser" link the score for your 'SEO' is A+.... Comparatively, I just ran a site I manage through that seo optimiser and got a "C" rating also with the "thin content"....

Your keywords should be in the content of your pages not just the headings. The keywords are what search engines use to crawl and index your site, and in order to return accurate results from web searches.

Maybe don't rely on only one of those optimiser tools - find another one or two, and see if they give you more or less the same report of things "wrong" with your site.

Thanks for your reply!

My keywords are also in the content! Not only in the headings... I don't understand why this tool give me keywords of the cookies banner. Do you have the same issue with your website?

Hi

> I don't understand why this tool give me keywords of the cookies banner.

Because most of these tools are just very bad. They say you have many issues that you just don't have, because that's only how you'll keep using them.

If you have an issue, it's likely that you are using too many keywords, too often.
