redirected to home page in admin area
I realize that this is probably not a Joomla issue, but perhaps someone else here has found a server setting fix. The problem is serious enough that I usually cannot access many System links. (We manage our own cPanel server)
I contacted RSJoomla support, and they said:
"It appears that after 5 requests, the 6th one no longer works and you're redirected. You can test this by clicking for example 5 times on the menu items on the left side. Upon the 6th click you'll notice the redirect.
Please directly contact your hosting provider, they should be able to provide assistance with this issue."
Thank you for all educated guesses.

Can you please give more details about this problem. Exactly which system links or types of links at the backend of Joomla are problematic?

Re: redirected to home page in admin area
The issue must be a cPanel security setting that blocks me as I navigate from one admin page to another. The problem is really bad when I try to access System/Plugins or System Modules. It is almost a resource block (too many quick clicks) but I set this site to Unlimited server resources.
If my cPanel expert cannot figure out the issue, I will have to change hosting.
Thank you for any guesses.

Re: redirected to home page in admin area
I have had several cPanel professionals look at this problem and opened up possible security settings that may be causing the problem -- but the problem perists so it must be a Joomla security setting. I found one old post with this problem in Joomla 4 but I can't replicate it because I am using Joomla 5. Plus, my issue is a bit different. I can usually access /administrator but I have a lot of problems accessing the lower left "System" link and even less luck accessing "Site Template Styles". (This is a new RSJoomla template and Joomla install.)
"I had to go into plugins/system/admintools and renamed main.php to main.old. Then I was able to access the administrator page."

Re: redirected to home page in admin area
@beyondthenet - I've been using Joomla since it was Mambo, and cPanel since 1998. I've developed and worked on thousands of Joomla sites, and never experienced an issue as you described - redirect after clicking "X" number of times on a link. That is definitely something not default to Joomla.
Unless there is something with your hosting company, nothing in cPanel would cause that. But, some hosting companies install some third-party security junk that truly does cause issues. I've seen many sites that are compromised by software some hosts force you to use.
If you have had "professionals" who have confirmed that there is nothing odd installed in cPanel, then you need to look at anything you have installed in Joomla.
What you describe is not something Joomla would do by default.
There are only 2 general places to look - cPanel and Joomla installed plugins / components.
You should also be aware that some "templates" have their own version of security. You need to switch to a Joomla default template and see if you have the same issues. And many templates are just created poorly.
Unfortunately, none of the things that could be causing the issue are anything Joomla users / moderators would be able to address.
I gave up on templates and only use Cassiopeia-child with CSS.

If you post the results of the fpa https://forumpostassistant.github.io/docs/ perhaps someone might notice an extension that could be the cause?
