Unable to login to admin after updating to 5.2

We're having the same issue since updating our sites to J5.2 — can't log in to the admin.

sorry — actually only one website. I enter my super admin credentials and the log in button doesnt do anything.

Inspector is showing this error:

The Content Security Policy (CSP) prevents the evaluation of arbitrary strings as JavaScript to make it more difficult for an attacker to inject unathorized code on your site.

To solve this issue, avoid using eval(), new Function(), setTimeout([string], ...) and setInterval([string], ...) for evaluating strings.

If you absolutely must: you can enable string evaluation by adding unsafe-eval as an allowed source in a script-src directive.

Allowing string evaluation comes at the risk of inline script injection.

FYI—For me at least it was an htaccess issue. Fixed now.

UGH — This is happening again and the admin Log In button doesn't function. We've replaced the htaccess file and checked the config file. Running J5.2.2 since Dec 1, 2024 with no issue until we tried admin access to the site on 1/6

UPDATE:

• Joomla Docs say J5.2.2 is compitable with PHP v8.1 and newer
• Our J5.2.2 site is using PHP v8.2.27
• When we switch to PHP v8.3.15 . . .

We can now log in.

Bug? Anyone else?
