URL does not content parent category and/or parent menu item Topic is solved

Hello,

We have a website running Joomla! 5.2.3 with several menus.

Our main menu items point to pages wich include in their URLs the category of the displayed content and/or the parent menu item (we do not know exactly which one is taken into consideration). For example if we have a menu item "PRODUCTS" and a child menu item "CARS" which points to an article "CARS" and which parent category is "PRODUCTS" the URL will be www.home.com/products/cars.html.

But we have also others menus which items point to pages which URLs do not contain the parent category of the displayed article or the parent menu item. For example if we have a menu item "LEGAL" and a child menu item "COOKIES" the URL will be www.home.com/cookies.html and not www.home.com/legal/cookies.html.

Do you know where does this difference come from? Is it a setting in the parameters of the menu, or in the category of the articles?

In the edit page of the menu item. It tells you the type of menu item.

Yes of course. No the menu type is "Article": It points to somme Joomla! content. Is it the answer you were waiting for?
