It looks like a duplicated menu module, published to the same module position, perhaps in the "top" or "menu" position(s). Look in the Module manager for a module called "main menu" and see if there's a duplicate of it. Unpublish one.

It might be another module other than "menu" but that's a starting point.

Does not look like a duplicated module. Possibly related to the use of an iFrame.

This is what I see:

It's the Wrapper module with iframe to your homepage.

Go to Content -> Site Modules, find the module and unpublish it. If you have trouble finding it, click "Filter Options" and under "- Select Type -" select "Wrapper". This will show all Wrapper modules.

ah, one of your links (menu items must be using that to link to "home" and therefore loads the whole page in the iframe. where you probably want "Single Article" menu item instead.

Thank you so much that worked perfectly. :)

For my template, I just want that top header and menu which are both there and I want to remove everything else. I have attached a picture and outlined what I want to remove. Is there a tutorial on how to do this?

An good alternative to create a template from scratch is to personnalize the native template Cassiopeia

You could find easily tuto for that. You could adapt the native template without big effort

Have a good day.
Thank you I am using cassiopeia.

Some guidance:

As you use casiopeia, the modules that you want to remove are in sidebare-left and sidebare-right positions

To remove it, go on Content / Site modules

To remove the login form , You will find the module "login form" just click on the green cross to desactived the login form

Once again simply go to Content -> Site Modules, find the modules listed in the sidebar-left and sidebar-right positions and unpublish them.

In modules login forms and sidebars are all one thing I clicked the green arrow and that removed the right side one. then change it to the left side and click the arrow again. But the things on the left are still there. they don't look like login forms to me, but more to do with the article. Is there a way to remove that?

What Jeff means is at Content > Articles, on the top right there is a button Options.

Do note that the options can also be set per article or in the menu-item.
These settings override the global options...

Thank you. Sorry, I easily miss things.

I have hidden everything on that link .
most things have gone in the preview but there still is "you are here: home" and then in large letters "Home" Is it possible to clear those?

Your "home" menu item is a "featured articles" type, yes?

Not a template problem.

Thank you, I have just tried that, it seems to make no difference whether the featured position is on or off.

Hello,

Seems good improvement,
You have removed some extra information with articles setup, you're are in good way

Now you want to remove "Home"
It's linked with "menus" parameters
So go on Menus / all menus item / select "Home"
Go on tab "page display" For option "Show Page Heading" select hide

You could also ste this parameters as general , it will apply for all Menus

The "You are here" is the Breadcrumps Module.

Thank you. I could not have been able to do this without all the help that everyone is giving me.
I removed home from the from the menus before I saw this post. It wont let me have it back as it says it's part of trashed home (which I had done to the first home).
rather than repeat things I have written more about this in the post below.

Home was also part of breadcrumbs. thank you.

I removed Home from the menu and articles before I saw this post.

When I did this the menu also disappeared.

When I first started making the website I tried using Nice page to do things. and the home page I uploaded from them included the menu.
I trashed the home articles do with nice page several times and deactivated nicepage from the plugins.

But I think it somehow still controlled The home page and that is why the menu disappeared when I fully trashed the home page.

even though I have done every think I know to clear nicepage thier emblem still shows up just above menus.
Is there a way of completely removing nicepage it has a way of infiltrating everything.

I have put a lecture below.

There is also one more think to clear I am not sure what it is but have also put a picture of it below
