Hi there,

Can't find any info on this type of error. Appreciate any indication you can give as to what is going on. FPA report is as below (wonderful diagnostic tool, BTW). I have recently moved the site to a new VPS but everything in the environment should be the same.

I've made the increases to the max sizes and memory limit.

I then went into the Global Configuration in the site and it errored with:

Hi gws,

"Live site" was still unchanged as I couldn't get in to the Global Configuration section of the admin template. However, I have now removed the live site info via editing the configuration.php file.

Going to the Global Configuration section still generates an error, FWIW.

Updated FPA post is now as follows:

(BTW, the FPA's confidence rating is a "B" at the moment. If there was a list of things that the FPA tool gave me to change about the server environment I wouldn't hesitate to do it. I'd love to know what to do to get an A+ rating etc.)

FWIW, I get an error any time I go to a page where the WYSIWYG HTML editor would load within it, from what I can tell. It's not just the Global Configuration page.

1. Empty livesite Lifesite can only be changed by editing configuration.php.
Open configuration.php and find

Code: Select all

public $live_site = 'WHATEVER_IS_WRITTEN_HERE';

and change it to

public $live_site = '';

* '' = 2x ', with nothing in between.

2. Update Joomla + extensions

Brief update: instead of trying to get the in-core updating to happen, I instead manually updated the site to the latest Joomla 5.2.2 and that fixed the issue with the exception of the displaying of a forms plugin.

There still remains a deeper issue of what caused this, and I do have a method by which to repeat it. I'll update again when we get to the bottom of what has been going on here.
