Upgrading problems

Post by micropalla » Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:25 am

Hello!

I have a problem upgrading from 4.4.10 to 5.
The system says I have to upgrade MYSQL version from "5.7.30" to "8.0.13".
I created a new database with this MYSQL version, I did a dump of the old DB and imported in the new.
I changed the config to point to new DB but I receive an orange Joomla Error 500 page with "Something goes wrong" text.
The extensions are updated, the Gantry is updated (5), the template is updated (last change last december).
I really don't know which is the problem. Moreover is a very small website, only a few pages, with no modifications to the code.
Any idea?
Thx!!

It would help you get reliable support if you do this:
