issue with ja image hotspot not working

I downloaded the ja image hotspot.
I set up an image with markers (with photos), but when I hover on the markers, nothing happens.

in my browser console I get the error message:

You play 'spot the difference' is my suggestion.
Start with php version
Compare .htaccess
Inspect the sites in the browser
Use the fpa to see if there are differences

But the chances are it's a simple pebcak error like a typo.
