Digital downloads?
I looked in the extensions directory for digital download extensions.
Nothing! The search function does not even have option to search on anything above J3?
Anyone know of an extension to offer paid digital downloads, must also use Stripe gateway.
Thanks!

EShop by Joomdonation has that option and it works well.

When I type 'download' into the search box in Chrome, the AJAX search shows several extensions compatible with J3, J4 and J5 or J5 (B/C PLUGIN), for example jDownloads, EDocman and Phoca Download.
Check which boxes are ticked under Compatibility in the left pane:

Re: Digital downloads?
To clarify I am not looking for a shopping cart or extension for a cart. I do not have a list of other products to sell and don't need all the setup and backend configuration for a single paid digital download.
The solution I am using works but isn't the ideal. I use a Stripe payment form and the "after pay" message one gets when they purchase contains a download link.

Re: Digital downloads?
The list under the heading Categories looks short and different from mine. My Categories list starts with 'Access & Security', 'Articles Display' and 'Galleries'.
What is the URL in the browser address bar when you select Search from the menu? My browser shows https://extensions.joomla.org/instant-search/.

Re: Digital downloads?
I would recommend OchSubscriptions - a fine extension to sell digital products. It is native written for Joomla 5 and has Stripe payment plugin.

Re: Digital downloads?
Thanks. I will be looking at that one for potential future use but it does not seem relevant to what I need regarding subscriptions. What I am selling is not subscriptions to read a web site but to pay for a recurring service on a quarterly basis that is not related to visiting the site.Sulpher wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 6:16 pm I would recommend OchSubscriptions - a fine extension to sell digital products.
