Module_Feedback with Captcha

Post by stuffdone » Mon Feb 03, 2025 9:36 pm

Re: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/feedback/

This seems to be a very good form builder. Intuitive and easy to add fields.

One shortcoming seems to be the lack of CAPTCHA.

I did email the developer who is in Russia so not sure of time for response

My question is, has anyone here used this and come up with a solution to add CAPTCHA to the form?

Thanks.

I can't speak for the one you use but does not installing a capture plugin just automatically add it to the form?

I personally use Convert Forms (developer: Tassos (https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/convert-forms/)) and it offers four options for captchas - ReCaptcha (Google), HCaptcha, Turnstile(CloudFlare) and a basic maths-question captcha. I think Convert Forms is easy to use, and flexible in its features and even more so with pro edition.

I shall take a look. I tried Form Tools but it has massive overhead requiring a separate database etc. Way too much for just an email form.

I have been using that as well. I find the navigation in dashboard to be less intuitive but once you figure out where things are it's good.
