Plugin for Google consent mode v2
I have to implement Google Consent Mode v2 on my websites. The Google CPM's don't seem to support Joomla explicitely.
Does anyone have advice how to approach this? The only plugin I have found is the GDPR plugin from JExtensions.

Re: Plugin for Google consent mode v2
This seems to be a big problem for me also.
This consent mode sh*** seems to be obligatory thing by default for all websites in Europe, so this should be a native functionality for Joomla. Not to be needed we to search, try and pay for components

That plugin is for Joomla users not visitors. If you using any of add, marketing etc cookies, you have to implement Google consent 2.Per Yngve Berg wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 8:38 am Joomla has a Privacy Plugin since 3.9

Re: Plugin for Google consent mode v2
Joomla uses necessary cookies only, it can not predict what cookies are dropped by 3rd party extensions that site admin add.

Re: Plugin for Google consent mode v2
oof - I'll get that fixed
JED was pointing to the J3 version, not the J5 version.

Re: Plugin for Google consent mode v2
I just released System - Google Tag Manager ACL, which takes the consent mode signals sent to Google and turns them in to ACL permissions within Joomla (even for guests). All 7 signals are made available for ACL permissions.
Awaiting acceptance in the JED, on my site now.

Re: Plugin for Google consent mode v2
I just checked my Joomla 5.2.5 site and only logged in users have a cookie and it´s consent on it via registration. Today I tried n3t Cookie Consent and it worked but non-inlogged users had to make consent for cookies that were absent so I disabled it. But it was quite impressive if I had cookies for all visitors.
