Re: Discuss Joomla! 4.2.3
J! 4.2.3 RC was not fully tested; only two people (that I know of) followed the testing instructions. J! 4.2.3 still contains known bugs from J! 4.2.0:
1) Articles - Categories module causes "Serialization of 'Closure' is not allowed" error under certain conditions.
2) System - Privacy Consent and MFA plugins cause an infinite redirection loop.
There may be other, new bugs, in J! 4.2.3; I don't know.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 4.2.3
Hello,
Do you have any feedback from this new Joomla 4.2.3 version? With Yoothemes, Rockettheme etc... templates?
Version PHP 8.0 or 8.1?
Generally with each new version the users of the forum (including me) indicate if everything is ok for them and thanks the developers... Nothing this time, neither for 4.2.3, nor for 4.2.2 etc...
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Best R

Re: Discuss Joomla! 4.2.3
I have updated sites succesfully to Joomla 4.2.3 that are on both PHP 8.0 and 8.1, and using the latest version of YOOtheme Pro.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 4.2.3
I eventually updated my last J! 4.2.2 website to J! 4.2.3. We still cannot upload SVG files using the media manager—this has been a long-standing issue since J! 4.2.0 (see https://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/38532) and this is not likely to be fixed before the next release. However, because SVG files are not in as widespread use as other formats, this is probably not an issue facing most people.
