Updated a test site 5.2 rc1,no problems.I have akeeba ,admin tools,convert forms and Ladkit installed all up to date. Php 8.3. However the the new guided tours keeps coming back, hide forever and cancel both close it but go to anywhere else in admin and the guided tours comes back.

What happens if you choose the value 'No' to the option 'Allow Auto Starting Tours' in the screen 'Guided Tours: Options' (System => Manage => Guided Tours -> Options)?

I don't know. Turns out it is a bug from PR44082.

If you install rc1 directly not an upgrade then it works fine, I first upgraded a site that had had many updates so there in lye the problem.
